The Central Virginia Software Quality Assurance Association (CVSQAA) was founded based on the recognized need within our region to foster heartier communications among software development and maintenance organizations.

The recognized benefits of sharing resources and ideas common to our collective missions provided the momentum to form a core group of interested parties, and after a few organizational meetings, we became a thriving cooperative representing multiple area businesses and viewpoints.

Having chartered under the auspices of the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), our mission parallels that of numerous software quality organizations worldwide -- to further improvements to software development and testing operations by sharing lessons learned in associated technological advances and methodologies.
